if you are the humane type…can get those animal traps and then move them some other block.
But if don’t mind dealing with remains, a few prescript drugs mixed with cat food will render them DOA.

Is there any kind of cat repellant out there? Do I just need to borrow a friend’s mean dog for a while? Any suggestions?
i had this problem in the alleyway behind my apartment. i released my pitbull in the alleyway (it’s enclosed he couldnt escape) and the cats scrammed FAST! they came back a few days later and i let him out again. they havent been back in a long time 🙂 i guess they got the point that they arent welcome.
me cuz i buy my phones at duane reade.. they are only 10 bux! so you can lose them and it’s no biggie. also your number isnt tracked to your name or identity so big brother can’t be spying on what you do and who you call!
Arkady… I was going to Andy Rooney style whining, not ranting.
Petebklyn… I really hope that’s the case. But I’m a little concerned that it’s a case of permanent degeneration and not something that will ‘correct’ itself over time. I say this because it’s not just the 5 to 21 year olds that are self-centered and degenerate, it’s their 40 year old parents too.
Le – Google one of the “catch & release” groups for your area. Once they’re neutered they won’t be into courtship & they’re bodily emissions won’t reek.
Don’t get sold on any of the deterrents – they don’t work.
Lechacal, there are products sold in pet stores that are supposedly good at keeping cats away from any given area you choose, but I don’t have first hand experience on how well those may or may not work. The only thing I could tell you is that some cats really really hate aluminum foil and the feel of it under their feet. If you place a few sheets where they tend to congregate, it may work, but not guaranteed. But, in the meantime, get yourself a super-soaker water gun. They hate being soaked far more than having rocks tossed at them.

Pete – You really should put the phone in rice until it dries out.

who still has a flip-phone?

My cell phone is 6 years old. Works the same as the day I bought it. Replaced the battery once. Not a flip phone.

I think I’m going to post my question to the forum.
