April Fool’s Day Impromptu (or Unofficial for Snappy) Gathering at The Duplex – Update:
Last night, DeLepp slapped me really hard. (No homo) So then I slapped Biff really hard. (No homo) Since the markets are closed Friday, April 2 for Good Friday, many of us get off that day, so we agreed that it makes sense to go out Thursday night. (We had been considering a flip-flop to Wednesday because we scoped out the help and were trying to see a particular piano player — not to worry, Dave, the kitchen staff is stellar every night.)
So, Thursday, April 1st at The Duplex it is. Intersection of Christopher Street and 7th Avenue South in the West Village. Directly across the street from the 1 and 9 subway station. Piano Bar doesn’t open until 9pm, so we’ll start at the upstairs bar (called the Game Room or something like that), which begins Happy Hour at 4pm (so I’m sure Cobble will be waiting outside no later than 3:30pm) I’ll prolly get there between 6-6:30pm.
