Someone I know very high up on WS has told me something that I find interesting in light of this IRA/ROTH thing posted earlier (which I haven’t fully checked out yet)
He says it’s inevitable that pension money will be taxed as there is so much of it and so few other places to tax.
rob, as an employer I can assure you that bennies add up to a minimum of 30% of your salary.
Your employer matches SS at 6.2%, also Medicare. There’s unemployment insurance, disability, worker’s comp. While you think you are paying for your health insurance, you are probably not, you are paying a small part of it. Even if not, you are benefiting from the wholesale price your employer pays.
In big cos bennies are probably considered 50% or more.
I was in a big IB today, on an exec floor, and found myself needing to take a leak.
They’ve replaced all the urinals with the new waterless variety. Nice!
In front of each and every urinal is an 8-1/2″ x 11″ four color sign, laminated in plastic, touting the advantages of the new urinals.
HOW GREEN IS THAT!
denton, dont fall for it. I stick to my claim Rob is a smart dude – certainly enough smarts to render the form EZ
Thanks Lesbi.
I’ll try CL first. I don’t want to make a ton of $ on them. I just want them out of here. I’m tired of looking at them.

“Oh, so you do know what they’re worth.”
I’m not sure if my pieces are worth that. But similar ones are. Just not sure.
I look at them and think:
I wouldn’t pay $500 for that.
Plus, the whole shipping thing is confusing me.
everything looks easier after a few 40s
