  1. m4l,

It’s tough working with someone above you, especially if you have your own way of doing things.

Sometimes I have to deal with administrators who come around to nit pick about inane things that have little relevance to the tasks at hand but I suppose have some bearing at boring board meetings.

Usually, I let my colleagues handle it while I go in the back and place my head in the microwave oven.

  2. yeah rob, but the trouble is what is ‘too many’. You should be able to cough up for a couple before going that route (btw putting the dog to sleep also costs money!)

  3. quote:
Trouble with old dogs is they start getting expensive, just like old people. rob, time to start a savings account for doggie care.

i love my dog, but when he starts to have too many medical ailments, i will most certainly not be footing vet bills and will probably opt to put him to sleep. perhaps that sounds cruel? 🙁 i don’t know.. i feel the same way about people. some people spend years in hospitals and going thru multiple medical procedures, when in fact, they really should just be put to sleep.

    *rob*

  4. Legion, have been having a ton of “boy is he/she really stupid” encounters with my boss and his peers. makes me want to conclude that one actually needs to be stupid to be promoted

  5. “Benson, it’s D) the wife knows her place and fully understand the hubby is to be worshipped”

Hmmm, now I know why you like brownstones.

    “Woman, I’m home!”
