ROFL, Slopey! I’d noticed Noki’s absence, too. Could she be the “Madam” of the ring??? If you re-read my earlier post, you’ll see that I speculate Montrose has turned State’s evidence. I assume before all is said in done, all but MM will end up retaining SSC&J, and we’ll mount (no homo / no hetero) a damning joint defense for them that will set them free to walk and troll the streets of BoCoCa very soon! As for MM, it’s not like SHE has any credibility, so she’ll be an easy witness to tear down (just like those old buildings she’s always championing).

Exactly my feeling. I have a friend whom I used to consider my best friend. We used to get together after work once or twice a month. Since he got married to a b__tch, he’s become whipped, and doesn’t stay in touch. Not even a phone call or e-mail. Yet, he wants to “friend” me on Facebook. I don’t do Facebook, but I get the e-mail requests from folks who want to be my friend.
Come to think of it, Noki’s been awfully quiet since the bust, too. I can’t make sense of the spokes and wheels of the conspiracy — Mongolian mob merged with architectural historians and designers, (damn) cat fanciers, incontinent finance types, and noki? Since SSC&J LLP is not representing them (hmph), seems fair to speculate. (The eerie silence suggests one or more may be turning state’s witness.) To be continued?
rob – As we’ve discussed so often before, if you wanted that kind of success you’d have it. So you can’t be depressed by the attainment by others of goals to which you don’t aspire.
facebook depresses me because of all the people who i thought were soooo dumb in high school (you know the types… the ones who barely passed, partied all the time, etc), are all so much more successful than i am 🙁
