Arkady, I have to admit, my feelings on Frankie Avalon were colored by my dad’s distaste for him…you should have heard his impression of him. Hilarious!
Snaps – You’re just too young. That song was an anthem when I was in HS – a chance for a slow dance w/ someone you liked or an up-tempo if it were a guy you weren’t interested in.

Aside from the famous quote from Shakespeare, it is said he was warned of the Ides by a seer, and about midday on the Ides, said to someone, “well, it’s the Ides, and nothing has happened”, to which they replied, “the day isn’t over yet.”
