gem, just come to Ditmas Park or Kensington. Stop looking in other hoods. I went by to look at the menu at Castello Plan and it looks great for a small tapas menu. Place was busy. Good wine selection too.
Arkady, the bulding is a beautiful combination of brick and brownstone from 1862. The interior is real porn with fireplaces, coffered and bracketed ceilings, etc.
And, most importantly, you get a “full pour” if you order a glass of wine.
Dibs – I’m for historic preservation. If I went w/ you to the Union League the building would be destroyed by lightning.
