  1. Denton, times are tough. A lot of people who are accustomed to working hard, who are serious, who are smart and who are having difficulties don’t need to be blamed for their difficulties. As you can see by the responses to Rob, many people have struggled here with being laid off and being underemployed. The world is shifting in ways that we aren’t even able to fully understand but we do know that people’s need for help, direction, money, whatever isn’t a reason to give them a self-satisfied, smug kick in the ass. Reinventing yourself is tough and takes hard work, creativity and a little help from your friends.

That is how I see it.

Well, I have to get back to work.

  2. “Excuse me, but am I just exhausted from working hard all week at my company or you being a mean, nasty jackass?”

I call it how I see it, donatella. Nobody told him he has to work hard. I see from a recent forum post you were asking about your honed granite counters. No doubt you can afford them because you worked hard all week.
