My ‘commute’ is 6 mins by car, 10 mins by bike, 25 minute stroll among the Sycamore trees, or 30+ mins by choochoo/bus.
I woke up just after 7:00 this morning and was unlocking my office door at 7:45. Oh, and I don’t have to go to that other island at all… well, I actually have to this afternoon, but that’s an exception. Thanks be to Jaysus.
My group gets here between 7-8:30, but most are here by 8. I woke at 6am. I want to walk over the Bridge in the morning so I need to start getting up at 5:30 – I timed it walking home last night, and it took me about 45 minutes from my office to my apartment.
Tybur6, those are decent hrs – assuming you milk every minute of the hour lunch.

By the time I get up (open my eyes), most of you are in the office.
that is ambitious doing in the morning. Getting up extra early. Walking home is less stressful…no deadline and if sweat doesn’t matter.
I get up at 6:35…am out the door by 7:00 and in the office between 7:40-7:50.
The rest of you should become more disciplined in your morning ritual and then, overall, you will be more like me and, by definition, a better person.

5:00
tybur6, what time you normally leave work?
I was in the office at 7:45 this morning… agree, it’s an ungodly hour. Yawn.
