Benson, this is my thinking on Boston. It is on the East Coast, good. It is the North East, good. It has lots of Italian and Irish, good. Lots of good universities, good. But the deal with Boston is that it is pretty provincial — hard to break into those cliques. I have some friends who live just a little west of Boston, near Lexington — he married my NYC friend and in his 40s, he still hangs out with the same guys he went to grammar school with. Ok, that’s not everybody but I have heard that from others. But it is a university town too, (I guess he’s the townie) so how bad could it be. Oh, God, though you would MISS it here.
We don’t smoke that stuff. Seriously. We don’t. BH is totally sober. And I’m an alky in training.
But it is EVERYwhere. It’s illegal there, but you can still, literally, just walk out the door and down the road somewhere like 3 people will offer to sell you some.
“Papaya and Banana trees grow like weeds. Hammocks under a thatched hut gazebo, feels like it’s air conditioned — best place for an afternoon nap during the hot part of the day. Cocktails at sunset! Fresh fish or lobster, caught THAT morning, for dinner!”
Tell us about the cheap ganja, cobbles.
Notice how she keeps talking about the food, she got the munchies…

Well said, ENY! I’ve missed you. [No homo]
benson, I hear they got some seriously conservative nabes in Boston. So you don’t have to make the same mistake twice.
Whatever you do, stay away from Beacon Hill.
Boston SUCKS because the Red Sox are from there. Period.
Howdy Snarky! Likewise! Hope you’re well : )
Ah, I’ll go read that ENY. They just look so GOOFY! Like they’re imitating guys.
“the unceasing sky slurpee”
LOL, Snarky!
[I said I’m going now, Cobble! Sheesh! Don’t make me publicly discuss all the snorting you’ve been doing since you got back from Jamaica!]

ENY,
wow, who knew that Canadian women hockey players were so wild?
when was it that the US women’s soccer team took off their shirts after winning and caused a ruckus?
…I should add that they had sports bras on.
