We can talk about breasts. The other day a woman on a local email list was trying to find the addy of a La Leche league meeting. I was so tempted to ask if I could go!
“”they don’t sleep that long till they’re off breast milk”
So true. ”
Now I disagree w that statement and hate to see any statement that encourages something other than the real thing.
Da kid woke up once a night for two weeks, after that she slept the whole night thru. And was breast fed. I know we were lucky but… and a cursory web search turns up evidence that in fact breast milk varies by time of day and helps babies sleep BETTER than that shit in a can. http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2009-10/f-sf-bms100109.php
“wasder, but do you think one can resell a renovated one for 550-600k considering the $1k maintenance, no doorman and the bad rep the coop has? how much would such a renovated unit be going for in your old coop?”
Good question M4L. It remains to be seen obviously but I do think that a tipping point is coming for that complex. Everyone who goes in there and sees the windows and the space and the views from the upper floors seems to be impressed. So yeah, the resale factor is a definite question but I bet in 5 years the demographics and overall character of that complex will be substantially different.
AS to your second question, I sold my apt across the street from here for just under 600. It was smaller than this place but really nicely renovated and in a six story pre-war building, which I would imagine helped resale.
“And in the front I got nothing!”

Learn to exaggerate, Denton.

“Since you are the most beautiful woman in the world, he will be taken care of for at least the next six months!”
I’m not the most beautiful. I said I was the most wonderful!
Get the complimentary adjectives about me right.
“”donatella, in the end I got just about everything.”
No Homo?”
And in the front I got nothing!
…ahhhh the OT,
a convivial crew of bonvivants,
full of the mother’s milk of human kindness.
🙂
“What will we talk about now???”
Your sex life? We’ve only hit on that a few times today! LOL! ; )
