Morning all.
my 2cents…
Palin: I think a spokesperson for a worthy cause (i.e. Down Syndrome) should at least be able to speak eloquently, unless they have the syndrome themselves.
Tea Baggers: the conference sure did look awfully white. I’m just sayin…
Too depressed to keep typing and reading blogs. Palin and tea-baggers I feel ready to take on. A nuclear-armed Iran? Sigh.
Up until 3am battling a huge leak from 3 floors up (construction workers left a pipe untapped), fans blowing everywhere. Reading news of the sky falling with sand-bagged eyes.
Think I’ll watch the rest of Miyazaki movie – Totoro – and take a shower. Work in an hour and 1/2. Out for now.
When Hillary Clinton talks about the complete erosion of whatever semblance of democracy exists in Iran, you know we have turned the corner. There is a dictator in place there now and the whole tenuous network of religious/secular checks and balances are torn up after the last election sham. Iran is truly dangerous and Israel is the most immediately vulnerable. They have attacked Iran in the past — limited strikes to arms facilities – and I think that an attack by Israel is possible. I heard some interesting comment the other day about Obama’s stance. He is still officially holding out the negotiation option with one hand, the supposed olive branch, but this is effective mostly in robbing Iran of an American bully figure they seem to need so much in getting Arab support.
“and take a shower”
Fine. Then I’ll say it. Noki leaves us with an image of her in the shower. 😉

Massage: biff, have you thought of this for tension release?

“Allow me to answer: because President Obama doesn’t have the balls to get the job done.
That’s it for me today. Domani!”
Only a guy with no balls would post that and then run off. A guy who doesn’t like to take personal responsibility for his comments.
I think Presidents without itchy trigger fingers are not only more intelligent, but have a lot more guts.
Anyone else want some pudding?

That’s disgusting what happened, Arkady
