  1. BRG, I’m pretty sure I want it to be an LLC, but that’s part of why I need to talk to someone.

Yes, please and thank you, Snappy.

[Darn it, I need to set up some ‘cobblehiller’ email box someplace. Lemme figure that out and I’ll post the email box.]

  2. Cobble, I can recommend my lawyer, he’s in the Bronx though.

You should research all the differnt types of companies (inc, LTD, Sole whatever it’s called, etc.) and the pros and cons. I used to have a sheet that described them all. If I still have it, I’ll scan it for you. If I don’t mention it in a couple of days and you still want it remind me on Friday, I’ll be home.
Also talk to an accountant about the financial aspects of the different types of companies. We chose an ‘inc’ because of the limited liabilty.

  3. ‘Do you know anything about setting up small businesses?’
What do you need to know?
Hubby and I have an inc., just the two of us. I also have another business that’s also an inc.

  4. Agreed Dave, It looks like snowflakes are making the light prism a fiery red.

Thanks for the heads up on the Ansel moment Cobble. I went into the backyard to take some pics. Also got some nice shots going up the block which is reletively still unshovled as people haven’t gotten home from work yet.

Let’s just be grateful that we’re in brownstone territory and not McMansionville. It’s actually fun to shovel when it’s just this little patch out front and not an acre wide lot with a long driveway.

  5. I live on one of the quietest blocks in CH, it’s really peaceful. [I’d tell you more, but then I would have to, figuratively speaking, of course, kill you Snappy!]

Oh you Snark you! [shaking my fist at you!]

  6. My block is super quiet [If I told you more, I’d have to kill you, figuratively speaking, of course, Snappy, Esq.!] The backyard and the street look amazing right now.

Do you know anything about setting up small businesses?
