i was sent home once for inappropriate clothing at work 🙁
i couldnt wrap my head around the fact that men can’t wear shorts but women can wear skirts. that’s sexist.

M4L, you got it as good as me. When I left the corporate law world, I was happy to know that I’ll only be wearing suits to birthdays or funerals from now on. I still get phone calls from legal recruiters, matter of fact, got off the phone with one just now (totally cute girl/woman – hetero). One of these days, if the offer is juicy enough, I might swap back (no homo). Seems like hiring has picked up since I’ve gotten about 4 calls/emails this month and that’s from a resume that they had from 5 years ago.
you know now that i think about it, i really should have thrown a snowball!!
oh and people of park slope. if your kid is over the age of 12 and not of special needs, and especially if they are male, please stop holding their hands, it’s beyond ridiculous. i only started noticing it today and maybe ill give the benefit of the doubt since maybe it’s cuz of the ice… but still..

Pete, on Fri’s when I’m in NYC office, it’s mostly empty and everyone is casual attire. Whenever CEO is there, he always comes over to chit chat. Dont think he has an issue with my jeans & sneaks but one cant but feel a little “unprofessional” in that scenario. what’s your Fri attire?

Also, there are a lot of outlets in Flemington, NJ which is right on the way…
Take 287 to Sommerville and then 202 to PA. Do not takke an exit for 202 before Sommerville, NJ.
