Call me crazy a crazy cootie phobe but, I don’t like it under as it is pressed against the wall and when you reach for it your fingers/hand have to then brush the wall. When it’s rolled over you only touch the paper.
I could be wrong but I imagine that the wall must harbor bacteria from the hand just as a doorknob would. That’s not to say I don’t clean my walls but it’s not happening with any major frequency like the sink, toilet, bath and floor get done.
I’m also lucky in that my cats have shown no interest in the TP rolls. I’ve probably just jinxed myself by saying that but so far we’ve had no TP incidents.
remember when they used to have colored bathroom tissue!?!? i loved that!!! but they stopped making that cuz of the dyes or something right? i remember once i got SCREAMED at for buying the yellow kind. my grandmother only allowed the blue in the bathroom!! they should start making those again, im sure they can use safer dyes? ugh i used colored toilet paper for years and years, watch me get butt cancer

bx, with our previous cat, we stopped using the roller entirely and just left the tp roll on top of the tank. Our current bunch seems to have outgrown the unspooling phase. Mostly into scratching. We installed carpet runners on the stairs to divert them from destroying the couches.
Colored toilet paper and kleenex freak me out! I have seen some t.p. with naked women on it…I might be inclined to buy some of that though 🙂
