I’m not surprised people don’t know about the new Cuban Linx.
For the last oh I don’t know 17 years we’ve been like “Yo Chef, when the new Cuban 2 comin’ out son?” and he was like “It’s comin’ when it’s comin'” I think many fans gave up on the chef Rae…
They’re still completing it Delepp, it’s a 20 year project. one of the most interesting facts that I got from the PBS doc last night is “bullet train” High Speed Rail is FASTER and MUCH more efficient in terms of energy usage than AIR TRAVEL for distances of 250-600 miles or so. I’m very excited about the possibility for a light rail system (not the people mover but an entire netwrok of “trolley” light rail)in Detroit that is (possibly) in the works.
If Brooklyn doesn’t get light rail soon and myself and a lot of other people might find ourselves movin’ to Jersey city.

1. I’ve been an Amtrak commuter since 1998. If you think this will evre happen in the Northeast, A). you don’t know the logistical barriers and B). You’re just plain nuts
2. How many people are really going to move out of Brooklyn if it doesn’t get light rail??? ROTFLMMFAO
Most people in Brooklyn have no friggin idea what light rail even means.
i cant imagine a lightrail system (or trolley for that matter) helping detroit out. detroit needs to shrink it’s city limits first. seriously, in this situation it’s not an if you build it they will come type of a thing. detroits problems are much more entrenched than the need for a better public transportation system (tho im sure it couldnt hurt, but it wont be much of a fix)
dave how is the public transportation in philly? my friend lived there for a while and when i went to visit her she told me everyone drives, but i find that hard to believe..
hmm -which hova songs now have sing songy R&B hooks(ex. empire state of mind0
eeks Raekwon, he had an album out?
I will agree Blueprint 3 wasn’t even that good
The AVE is a wonderful thing in spain, 2 hours to go from madrid to seville and 3 to go to barcelona. AVE has been in spain since at least 1994 so I wouldn’t call it new.

“yeah i’d stear clear of apts with stairs. i have firsthand knowledge that in general stairs are dangerous.”
Gem, if you’re going to follow rob’s advice, also stay clear of apts with windows.
