  1. Noki, that’s exactly what I do too! Eat all the crappy, “healthy” parts and then enjoy the sweet, colourful charms. Also, drinking the chocolate milk after all the Count Chocula cereal was gone was also a treat.

  2. 1979!

Wiki: Honey Nut Cheerios is a variation of Cheerios breakfast cereal, introduced in 1979 by General Mills.[1] As the first variation from Cheerios, it is sweeter than the original, with a honey and almond flavor. While this product used to be made with actual nuts, as of 2006, the nuts were discontinued, and natural almond flavor used instead.

  3. Growing up my mother never bought us super sugary cereals. She also never, and I mean NEVER, not even once took us to a fast food place, ie. McD’s, BK, etc.
Maybe it was her immigrant mentality. You just don’t eat that crap. You eat at home; a nice home cooked ethnic meal, even on the holidays.

  4. You must be quite a bit younger than I, Ex. I don’t think the Honey Nut had been added to good ol’ Cheerios yet when I was a kid. Not until the 80’s?

    I’m going to google it.

  5. “Jackson argued that government interference in the economy would inevitably favor the well-entrenched and well-connected. It would take money away from the little people and give it to the elites.”

    If he were alive today….
