DIBS, canadian immigration is super selective vs. US. They only let in the rich and/or the smarties

That’s what pisses me off about other countries saying they “integrate” their immigrants better and that America has an immigration problem we don’t know how to solve; they don’t even let them in to begin with. Only the US basically lets anyone in.
DIBS — yes, frame, with loose brick fill for insulation that we largely removed to reduce weight on the front and back walls when we rebuilt and insulated them. Side walls are brick and frame mixed. CGar and kens and maybe snappy have seen the exterior, though not at all original. Oversized compared with most So Slo frames. Semi-attached to a large-ish but somewhat smaller frame that the owners have dated back to at least 1870, and we think ours was first. Based on title history, historical research and directories, we’ve narrowed it down to 1848-1869 as the date the house was built. We know this stretch of farmland was sold off in 1848 and that the streets were mapped, but not necessarily in use, at that time, and we know someone was living at the address in 1869. We know 1850s is possible, but until now we had no data that might confirm it. 1869 was the farthest back we had been able to go. Now we have the right person on the right part of the block, but with no street address, in 1859.
jester, you should hear what Japanese politicians have said publicly about the US’ “immigration problem” Most of it is unprintable here.

Is it also the case if one moves from state to state?

CA has a quota system for “stupid’ and one for “retarded.”
You’ll have no problem moving.
