3. So do issues, and dems need to stop believing their own bs. They took their mandate for granted and thought they could pass health care reform without effectively communicating about it.
etson, those frozen eyeball warnings you might see on the TV weather forecast are NO joke. if they say 5 seconds, they mean it – ie your eyes if exposed to the lovely toronto weather WILL be frozen in 5 seconds (you’ll be able to see but you won’t be able to move your eyes; frozen in its position).
biff, this frozen eyeball type temperature is super rare right? one my buddies from Toronto tells me it’s not that rare and I didn’t quite believe him
Anybody good at setting up routers? I bought a (Cisco) Linksys router and the setup looked easy using the CD that came with it. Unfortunately, I kept getting “error 321 – ethernet cable not connected” despite knowing all the cables were connected properly. I found others posting on the internet the same issue and suggested setting up the router manually. Is this easy? Should I be daring and actually try to speak to a real person at the Linksys live chat line?
Does anyone know if the DJ will be at Last Call tomorrow night?

Thanks for the advice all. Maybe I’ll take dibs’s advice and man up for a bourbon and soda, like my wife’s aunt used to drink.
Meanwhile, my lessons from yesterday’ results:
1. Obama and dems had a legislative strategy, but not a political strategy. They have ceded far too much political space to the opposition from day 1. Better they should learn this lesson (and I hope they do) with the loss of one seat than in a full mid-term election.
2. Candidates matter.
3. So do issues, and dems need to stop believing their own bs. They took their mandate for granted and thought they could pass health care reform without effectively communicating about it.
etson, you’re right. If you say “soda” in Toronto, everyone will think you’re some kind of American Asshat. It’s pop. And you drink Bloody Caesars there, not Bloody Marys.

I use a Porter Cable 1HP router and a Bench Dog router table.

He was DJing from his laptop, Biff, so if he’s not going to be there we just have to get our own DJ Snappy to bring hers!
“i wonder if henry public will make me a thermos of manhattans to go.”
DH, the way you polish those off, I don’t think you would make it past Henry and Atlantic before the thermos was empty.
🙂
