  1. “Bloomberg will be re elected and he will get those cuts! Trust me on this on!” – Return of the What.

You are mighty confident he will get re-elected. I’m not so sure.

Also, want and get are two entirely different things, especially when union contracts are in place. Sure, there are ways around them, some come up Oct 09, but what you need to realize is that if Bloomberg wants to get re-elected he needs the city union’s support. To guarantee 23,000 cuts to the DoE with a contract to be signed just before an election….

    … I don’t think so.

It won’t be as bad as he says, and his re-election is no slam dunk.

And just because I know you are so enamored with him… Obama sucks 😉

  2. Oh my GAWD, they are still building brownstones. Really really really! Or more specifically, a Greek Revival free-standing mansion.

Rob, I quit smoking after more than a decade, and highly recommend it. It’s hard but the more often you quit you get better at it and then you stop for good, really. I love not smoking. (Warning: After you quit, you can’t ever date a smoker again.)
