seriously tho, i can only think of a handful of times i HAVENT seen someone offer to help someone carry a stroller up or down the subway. it seems like there always people willing to help.. maybe your subway stop happens to just be one of the rude pockets of nyc? there’s a few of them.
Chicken, ya just gotta be patient. Clearly, everything currently on the market, no matter the size, neighborhood, or condition, will be bought with bonus money. I have friends at other firms expecting as much as $15,000 in bonus money (before 49% taxation), just waiting to buy $3 million houses.
Friendly reminder of my post yesterday…..Biff, Jessi and CGar, look forward to meeting you guys if you still plan to make an appearance.
OT Readers,
Apologies for my absence this week. Working a bunch for some reason.
Anyway, my friend’s tequila company is having a tasting (read: free tequila) at Heights Chateau on Atlantic Avenue tomorrow night (Friday) between 5:30pm and 8:30pm. This stuff is awesome. We are talking “sipping” tequila aged in French Oak cognac barrels.
I will be appearing on the early side, so if anyone shows up I will no longer by anonymous, though I am not the guy hosting the tasting, just trying to help a buddy out. In fact, I may just buy an extra bottle for him to give out extra shots to anyone who says they heard about the event on Brownstoner.

“the rude pockets of nyc? there’s a few of them.”
As opposed to the hot pockets.
dibs – DC is so effed up because the GOP is so obstructionist & autmatically recalcitrant.

Well, they have good reason to be so right now.
Not sure where the TKD reference came from.

Or you can look in Mill Basin. If you’re ‘Rich and Famos’ and want an indoor pool or need a boat dock, this house is for you.
