Cuz coupla nights ago Mrs. D was walking her dog, just crossing over the Prospect, when she heard That Sound. So she looks over the fence and a second and third car hit a dog down on the hwy.
So I send an email to a coupla local listservs and someone points out that there’s a dog showing as missing on fidobrooklyn.org, which was a new one for me. The dog matches the description. The dog was missing on 18th Street. If he woulda walked up 18th Street he runs into a dead end on 7th Ave. If he went right, and then left on the next block to continue in the same direction, that would have let him walk onto the Prospect. So there’s a good chance, but of course not a 100% chance, that it’s the same dog.
So the guy who put that ad on fidobrooklyn didn’t leave his number, he left some number that is hooked up to the chip place. We called and reported what we saw.
Then last night there were a coupla lost dog signs, right up here on 7th and 8th, almost like the guy knew the dog would walk up here.
So I was just wondering, if it was in fact the same dog, if that info will definitively get back to the owner.
I guess it’s better to know than to not know and hope.
Snapple, I’m out. Gotta get to the play. (And my friend’s ex will be there. Yuck!!) I’ll either see you later in the OT or on the couch for Jersey Shore. Or both.
How did this get 1,000 posts?
Dipping a toe in after long day.
Rob had too much caffeine or something this morning he was a riot. And for your info, those wedding bands are worth about $20.
One final note…then I’m definitely off to cook…someone please remember to bring cookies and milk to the OT After Dark party for Cargar!!
Ciao!
Yeah, Denton, it’s torture to wonder.

I would imagine they’d do a scan for a chip.
Denton, I think Animal Control does it.
