1.) got my 401K statement. WOOT! made some money!!! not a lot, but still, made some i guess 🙂
2.) in the fauxdega this morning getting a pack of smokes to see this man arguing with the guy behind the counter about how they should give him credit cuz he lives right around the corner blah blah blah. i felt bad for the guy, i wanted to be like dude this is a fauxdega, not a real bodega. real bodegas generally extend credit to regular customers. i’ve done it in many places. they have their marble notebook with your name and how much you owe and when you get your check you come in and pay what you owe. it’s a great system. it’s an unfortunate system that many have to resort to, but it works. (and yeah usually the stuff people get on credit in bodegas are beer and cigs) but ive seen many moms and stuff get milk, bread, etc. you have to do what you have to do. it’s a good system but i wanted to tell this man stop wasting your time, these fauxdega places will NOT give you credit. even if youve been going to them for years. they extend credit in harlem, the lower east side, chelsea, etc. but not park slope. wtf? lame!
3.) men on the train. yes i am asexual but i like to stare at guys who i find attractive on the train. i am for the most part only attracted to guys + or – 3 years of my own age.. (ill be 33 in less than a month). and im also not really attracted to gay guys. i dont know, there’s something about them that totally turns me off. anyway everytime i stare at someone they ALWAYS have a wedding ring!!! ALWAYS! i find it funny but kinda weird. is this a NYC thing? are nyc women so insecure that they make their husbands wear wedding/engagement rings? believe me, no man wants to wear that ugly crap no matter how much they love you. it’s gotta be insecure women behind those rings. and if i ever had to go criminal i would not be stealing ipods and phones on the train, id be stealing these (always basic plain boring gold) rings and dialing up that place that melts your gold for money. ipods and phones can be traced back to you, but gold cant.
