You’re certainly right about our policy towards Haitians, Snappy. I don’t think that was something Obama was too keen on keeping, so hopefully that will officially change.
Still, if I were starving or in dire straits, I’d take help from whoever gave it, and for the sake of the people involved, a bag of food with USA on it is still a bag of food that will keep someone alive.
Both houses look very pleasant. So go for Remsen and give the $1.35mm savings to me.
Dislike the furnishings in Remsen & the lounge of Cranberry, though. Like a nursing home or a fraying grand hotel.
oh and CGar, while I’m at it. I need to rip up that wall to wall carpeting and if there isn’t wood flooring with gorgeous inlay, we’ll need to install some.
“If you buy the Remsen Street house, can I move in.”
Of course. But only if you stop charging me.
Dave, I love the dining room too. I thought you’d like that. I couldn’t find a floor plan on Kevin Carberry’s site, so I don’t know if it’s a Parlor or Garden floor dining room though.
ET, agree about the kitchen. Looks more like Formica than granite to me. But it will have to do temporarily.
I don’t like granite counter tops. I want poured and dyed concrete. Saw it done once in a pure brilliant white that was so clean and smooth it looked like marble. Heaven!
I heard there are some really snobby and arrogant people living on Remsen. ExTex, I think you should stay clear of that block!
CGar, you didn’t buy me the St. Marks house, so don’t expect too much sympathy from me, Bud! That house should be MINE!
“I want poured and dyed concrete.”
A woman after my own heart!
Concrete countertops are gorgeous.

When do we move in? Should I start packing?

Nah, no Remsen Street for me. Give me 18th Street between 5th and 6th any day. Sigh….a PLUSA can dream 🙂
