Which exam is this?? And why do they take part 2 before part 1?
Only thing that was required when I was in the old country was a certificate called the IMC, which was held to prove that one was ‘threshold competent’!! But everyone had to have that, analysts as well.

  2. delepp, Don’t believe everything you read. It’s still on the 21st!

And this time it’s being held at Our Mother of Perpetual Drink Mixing, not Perpetual Exit as some might have been led to believe. Sorry for the confusion. ; )

  3. slopefarm, many of us know each other pretty well away from the blog. in fact, we know each others’ real name, where they live,…… just like friends away from the blog, if that person is close enough for spouse to invite to funeral then chances are spouse knows of them and/or have met them

No – I was taking an exam/test. Will allow me to manage a fund in the UK if I pass (then need to convince people to invest in it!). Today was part 2, part 1 next week I think.

I’ve just gone back and re-read all of the posts – heavy for mid-week.

To all of the ladies of Brownstoner that I have promised diamonds to (plus CDog’s collar)):- I’ve taken the money and donated it to Haiti. They need it more than you need diamonds. Sorry.

  5. Listen, I’ve become way more “isolationist’ than I ever thought my commie-lib-dem self would be, over the past year of my life. I want American jobs to stay here. I want American money to stay here. And I’m still very bitter about what we didn’t do/still haven’t done for New Orleans.

But when it comes to something this EXTREME, having been to poor Caribbean countries. And having lived through a major earthquake here, in SF in ’89. I want US, who have so much, even still in the rotten state of our current economy, to make the best use possible of our incredible resources to help.
