One of these days I’m gonna convince myself that I can in fact part with some of my movies and join their movie swapping site. The only problem is that I can’t think of anything I really want to see that I already haven’t.
Expert, that site has really helped me out because I love audiobooks. At around $16-25 a pop, it’s an expensive habit. With the paperbackswap site, I’ve saved a ton of $$$.
I’m trying to watch every $ I have, so I don’t buy books anymore :-(. I’ve been going to the library and swapping with friends. I couldn’t help myself at the Strand tho. At .48 cents, I bought a few.
In our building laundry room, people leave books and magazines for the taking. I usually leave my paperbacks (that I don’t want to save) there.
You got out of the GPO quick! I’m hoping for the same luck tomorrow morning. I’ve got another book to mail out! Speaking of which, I have a funny book to show you. It’s called “Is Your Cat Gay?” It’s hysterical. Cute pics asking about the fabulous level of your felines to determine if they are indeed ‘fabulous!’
Back from GPO!
I didn’t sign up for the emails – what more could they possibly say than what we’re already informed of?
While Denton is right about typesetting, it is still true that having extra space after a sentence is a “cue” for the eye & some type styles do it & some don’t. Historically there weren’t even spaces between words – reading’s a lot easier w/ those kinds of conventions.

Will do! I’ll have my large bookbag with me tomorrow to carry stuff…makes things easier. I’m gonna check out the Wellness food there.
The Swap is really terrific. It’s the only reason I can keep procrastinating w/ my t.v.

If you’re not carrying too much after PetCo, stop by for a drink & bring the book w/ you.
Thanks Snappy. Looking at the site now.

Expert, Arkady turned me on to Paperbackswap.com I love it. It’s helped to keep me out of the bookstores and saved me lots of money.
