Ha! Then clear heels it is! Maybe if I tell him I’ll find a french maid’s costume from the naughty shop he’ll keep you away from the computer when 500,000 rolls around too! LOL
only people with NO leverage keeps on “sucking it up” as they get disrespected at work – Conan aint one of them. I think NBC anticipated this outcome and this was their underhanded way of making him resign
“I actually thought during the 2008 primaries, that if Giuliani won, his democratic opponent should run an add with the tapes from his argument with the ferret guy. He comes off as truly unhinged.”
Slopey, I posted about that earlier. Jon Stewart played the audiotape last night.
G10, on the career change thing, per Legion’s suggestion, keep in mind that health care is the only field that has added jobs almost every month of the Great Recession. Of course who knows if this is sustainable, but…
Anyway Mrs. D is in the field, sorta, and one thing I can say is that after being a clinician of any kind you can then move into a well-paying position in the health insurance biz. Where there’s good money to be made keeping people like Legion in line, lol. MDs can make half a million without having to diagnose a single patient’s bleeding anus, and RNs can make well into the lower six figures as well without changing another diaper.
Oh no, arkady and legion, do we really have to revisit Giuliani and the ferret guy? Ugh.
I actually thought during the 2008 primaries, that if Giuliani won, his democratic opponent should run an add with the tapes from his argument with the ferret guy. He comes off as truly unhinged. A hushed voiceover talking about the awesome responsibiliteis of the president, the dignity of the office, responsibility for nuclear weapons etc. alternating with RG yelling “You’re nothing but a sick, sick man!” and stuff to that effect. I would have totally run that ad.
I really don’t want to start another policy debate about his term as mayor. But as a man, he could be pretty nutty sometimes.
“It was my mistaken belief that, like my predecessor, I would have the benefit of some time and, just as important, some degree of ratings support from the prime-time schedule.”
“. . . NBC has decided to react to their terrible difficulties in prime-time by making a change in their long-established late night schedule.”

Jinx, Biff!
“Maybe I can bribe BH…..I’ll get a certain pair of clear heels ”
Uh-oh…I’m doomed! LOL!!
