  1. gemini10,

    excellent!
keep on top of it, cause that’s not their money (the state), it’s yours.

I also filled out an account claim for my father, I’ll have to send him the claim to have notarized.

I didn’t have a clue about this site until a friend told me they looked up my name and found me there.

    Thank god for the internet!

  2. Legion!
I did that last year and I actually have gotten somwhere with the Comptroller for my great aunt and my dad(both passed away) however when I mailed them all this proof, it took them 4 months to send me a letter stating where and what the funds were(however not monetary value stated) and that I would need to send proof I am supposed to be the recipient of that money! – so that will be the next project

    ALSO – here’s a tip
start the search with your real full name and city
than do another search with just your last name, no city
and so on – a lot of times they have funds under mis-spelled names (which I found under my father’s name)

  3. THL, is it more casual then? I’ve gained a few pounds and nothings I have wedding appropriate fits me. Can I wear a silk shift dress (knee length) and fancy it up with some big bold jewelry?
