Legion- considering that no one ever said they were representative of a majority (really, where are you getting this from? Are you reading Brownstoner or Mass Delusions of the Republican Kind?) I can’t even begin to guess who you’re responding to.

bxgrl,
I already posted it, Arkady was stating that President Obama’s vision was in line with the majority of Americans,
I stated that I disagreed with her on the basis that he surrounded himself with people who were not proud of our nation by and large (by their own words).
we are judged by the company we keep after all.
you do realize that I’ve been responding to several of you at once?
my spelling has been an issue since our very first meeting, if you recall. You jumped all over me for spelling Cain with a K and my assessment as that biblical story as man’s first step away from a vengeful and fearful God.
😉
Denton,
There is simply no moral equivalence between being proud of one’s nation and the support of slavery or genocide.
I’m convinced you are a Member of the Tribe.
Confirm or deny?
Public opinion says I am Jewish.
However, in fact, I am 100% heathen.
My parents were raised as Protestants, one was Anglican. I don’t attend a house of worship. I have not been baptized. I went to Sunday School for about 5 minutes. I sort of believe in g*d, even though nobody can prove to me that g*d exists.
I put the little asterisk there so as not to offend anyone. I know some people think it’s blasphemous to use the Lord’s name in vain, and I get that.
I thought you didn’t eat meat Text.
I htink…
