  1. ExTex – Just be sure that if you stay w/ your current plan you’re not automatically signed on for a year or more. I think you can make that choice so long as you tell them that’s what you’re doing.

  2. lossforwords, I feel about Verizon how you feel about AT&T, mostly due to three customer service interactions. On Sunday Inoticed a friend had a Droid – they seem very veryy cool. I want it!

  3. I don’t remember a Starlight date being set…just that some thursday best because that is kareoke night.
all this iphone blah blah blah talk. I don’t even text and have it blocked. And not a clue of how to use the camera.
I just want to dial and talk….and not too often.

  4. ET, there’s a whole bunch of smartphones out/coming out that run Android. There’s a free backgammon game in the Android market too http://www.android.com/market/free-gamescasual.html#app=backgammonlite

You can renew your plan long after your current one expires. The only thing is that part of your monthly subscription effectively goes towards subsidising your handset (so the operators love you but you’ll be slightly disadvantaged). Not a problem if there’s a specific handset that you want to wait for though.
