  1. “Brownstone prices have bottomed, BHO, face it.”

You’re blowing your load, DIBS. Gotta get to YOY = 0. Suck it (no homo).

“I hope its only a temp thing”

That’s a hope you can live up to, HOBOKEN. We all know the reGOVery couldn’t last and now debt (therefore the money supply) is deflating like it did in the 30’s. Google ‘Money As Debt’.

“I don’t think you can put a price on owning your dream home”

The banks/appraisers can. That’s what matters. How many of us are paying cash?

“BHO can put a price on anything…10 X Annual rent Roll…that’s it, no room for anything else.”

Sustainable home price fundamental, DIBS. I’m just a messenger.

And yes, Japan has nowhere to go but up.

    ***Bid half off peak comps***

  2. “I believe it. He said that since he’s only in DC to help, and therefore has no vested interest in a career in politics, he can be an indepedent voice. Yeah, that’s great that you don’t have an agenda, but this doesn’t change the fact that you don’t know shit!

    Did he have an mba?

  3. IShares MSCI JPN Index fund. Long a massive number of 2012 calls as of yesterday. (DIBS – stop fantasizing about my balls, I am not on your team)
No need to play individual companies because this is a big picture idea. Could also take a long position in the Nikkei futures. Long run, JPN is no good due to it’s declining and aging population. The trick is to stay flexible and ride the waves.

  4. We’ve mostly been short the Yen..YCS

JOF, EWJ, NMR for accounts that can only hold ADRs

we buy locally and we’ve owned Toshiba (does have an ADR as well), Toyoda Gosei, Elpida, Don Quixote, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Komatsu & Kubota (last two have ADRs)

We are still long a lot of China stocks listed in Hong Kong…555, 1186, 1766,494 and some here as well…CEU, VISN, MR

  5. “I saw a chart recently that shows the number of years that President’s top advisers and cabinet officials have spent in the business world and Obama’s numbers are the lowest in many decades.”

I believe it. He said that since he’s only in DC to help, and therefore has no vested interest in a career in politics, he can be an indepedent voice. Yeah, that’s great that you don’t have an agenda, but this doesn’t change the fact that you don’t know shit!
