TOPIX (Japan) successfully closed above 900 last night after three failed attempts to do so. It has decoupled from the S&P 500 over the last 30 days and likely to continue to perform well, especially given a weakening Yen in an environment af historiclly large spread (and widening) between JGBs and US treasuries.
I went to a dinner last week in an extraordinary house on the corner of Sterling & 7th Av. Amazing nooks w/ stained glass & even a turret in the bedroom. (And dinner was served by live-in help: a lovely old contextual trad.)
Too bad Dave. I was just about to ask if she wanted a younger BF or a “boytoy” :o).
