Chicken…good anniversary gift….
Step 1: Drop the Egg off at a babysitter for an overnight stay
Step 2: Purchase a really good Jazz CD
Step 3: Purchase a really good bottle of bubbly
Step 4: Purchase a really good bottle of bubble bath
Step 5: Purchase a very nice gold/diamond bracelet
Step 6: Take the Mrs. out to a very nice dinner
Step 7: Come home, turn on Jazz CD
Step 8: Fill tub with hot water and bubble bath
Step 9: Crack open bottle of bubbly
Step 10: Get into the tub with the Mrs.
Step 11: While canoodling in the tub, magically discover the bracelet and slip it on her wrist
Step 12: Glub…glub…glub 🙂
Take Mrs. Chicken (and the egg if s/he is out of diapers) to see the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at City Center. I went yesterday at 3–Reveltions, AND Anna Deveare Smith–heaven! Lots of kids there, and 2 intermissions, so not more than 30 mins or so of sustained stay-in-seat time. We had seats in the first row of the rear mezzanine for $35 each. Not bad!

“There are traditional gifts for each year. Is that maybe only a U.S. thing???”
No, it’s a UK thing as well.
I’d go with jewelry as well.
Hola Cobble! I got a clean bill of health this morning. WOO HOO!
[Ah, just saw your email, Snappy!]
Hey Snaps! How are you feeling?? Much better, I hope!
Howdy Losers!
Chicken, sorry I missed your ‘welcome back to this side of the pond’ party.
