no need to find the thread, joe, i just came from there and can summarize:
– 11217 was not annoying, i lost that bet
– buckfast did get annoying, but, i think its just b/c ppl were mean to him
– i heart slope farm
– thread discussed Philly RE, which i know nothing about, so that was interesting– otherwise, thread was a snooze
– the WT realtor is on the pipe
Thanks Denton..
How do you run backups? It still works adequately enough for me to do that, when I can see what is going on.
I’ll do that first & then take it to a repair shop & see what they say.
etson, my home laptop just went out but luckily it’s covered under warranty. to transfer the data is easy – just get an external hard drive and it’s super quick to transfer. software will need to be re-installed onto new laptop – something I realize now and that it’s better to get software via CD’s vs. via on-line download (ie you have CD to re-install vs. on-line requires you to pay extra to have right to re-install later on if needed)
“Unemployment Rate dropped in 36 States Last Month.”
While that’s a nice ‘feel good’ statement. I wish that when they publish something like that they’d also provide data on how much of the drop is attributed to people who simply ran out of benefits to collect.
Dave, His older posts say that he grew up and was born in Coney Island right by Brighton Beach and he is or his family is from motherland.

Joe, it was yesterday’s HOTD. Basically buckfast told us he lived in CC for a while and he knew that houses there went from $20-50,000.
I found old posts in his profile saying he grew up in Canarsie & was a native Brooklynite but he still says he knows the Philly RE market really well.
I think he’s probably never been to the better part of CC.
BTW, people in the Be@Schemerhorn thread are hilarious. BrokeDeveloper is back with his funny Be@ rhymes.

I know several personally that it’s happened to.
Look up speedgeek, etson. They make housecalls, and are hoenst and reasonable. My IT geek friend recommended them and they were good.
