Kens, they blacked out the actual punch. I don’t know why cuz they showed it on an endless loop in commercials. They did it as a “cliff hanger” so now you have to wait until next week to see the aftermath.
It is not fit for man or most beasts out there. Only my dog and Canucks like this weather. And now they’re hyping the storm and claiming that we’re gonna get 6-10 inches of snow tomorrow in the City and more on Long Island. Philly too. 12″ in DC. BS. Never happens.
no need to find the thread, joe, i just came from there and can summarize:
– 11217 was not annoying, i lost that bet
– buckfast did get annoying, but, i think its just b/c ppl were mean to him
– i heart slope farm
– thread discussed Philly RE, which i know nothing about, so that was interesting– otherwise, thread was a snooze
– the WT realtor is on the pipe

Sorry, I meant to paste this in my “good buddy” post.
Joe, it was yesterday’s HOTD. Basically buckfast told us he lived in CC for a while and he knew that houses there went from $20-50,000.
I found old posts in his profile saying he grew up in Canarsie & was a native Brooklynite but he still says he knows the Philly RE market really well.
I think he’s probably never been to the better part of CC.

Thanks Denton..
How do you run backups? It still works adequately enough for me to do that, when I can see what is going on.
I’ll do that first & then take it to a repair shop & see what they say.
“Unemployment Rate dropped in 36 States Last Month.”
While that’s a nice ‘feel good’ statement. I wish that when they publish something like that they’d also provide data on how much of the drop is attributed to people who simply ran out of benefits to collect.
I know several personally that it’s happened to.

Unemployment screwed me big time while I was unemployed for close to 10 months. I filled out one questionnaire wrong (you know honestly) and I had to spend the next 9 months convincing them that I did not have my own business. The confusion started when I tried out a couple of commission-only jobs. It’s like they really want to punish people for working, even if it’s for $0.
Yeah, and I won’t be home to shovel. Why aren’t there neighborhood kids that want to earn money by shovelling like I did when i was young????
