I understand there’s alternate side parking, hey our streets need to get cleaned. BUT that does not give you the right to double park your cars!!!!! And prevent vehicles from traveling down the street safely.
On 2nd street, between 4th & 6th Avenues, cars can barely get thru cause of double parked cars. AND they (double parked cars) left the bike lane clear (well, thanks very much) AND every so often there were cars parked on the side you couldn’t on today.

So, legally parked cars, bike lane, double parked cars and sometimes a parked cars when there shouldn’t be…and cars trying to squeeze through. It was an obstacle course traveling down those streets. I’m telling you a car is going to get hit. I came pretty close to grazing a few trying to get around.

Hey, we have alternate side in my nabe too BUT I haul my ass out there early and try to find a legit spot even if it’s 10 blocks away.

There was a meter maid writing out tickets to the cars that couldn’t park today. I stopped and asked him if these cars are allowed to be double parked. He said NO, but they give they the courtesy and not ticket them.

WHAT!!!!!!! What about courtesy to the people driving down the F&cking street that can barely get thru.

So Pissed!!!!!
