  1. Oh wait – sorry I stirred up a hornets nest.

Over here, “Oriental” is not a derogatory term – it basically means anyone/thing from south east asia.

I forgot that it has negative associations in the US so I’d be happy to go with “Asian Dragons” (although “Asian” over here tends to mean Indian/Pakistani)

  2. Dave, that’s the last time I had it too…I was super ill and in the hospital. They started out giving me something else and then when another illness sprang up, they switched me to the biaxin granules. It was super gross, tasted and smelled like sour milk, but knocked everything outta me in just a few days and they finally let me out to go home.

  3. “DH, tell me again how you define a man scarf? I’m about to don one of my scarves (and my 180s, greatest invention ever), and I’m trying to gauge how much more of an embarrassment I’ll be to my people.”

below freezing anything goes CGar – scarf away!!

  4. biaxin has been around a long time. i took it in the 90s when i contracted bacterial pneumonia on a flight back from Asia. Lots of resistance to it nowadays. cipro is the strongest but of course it’s a case-by-case issue

  5. Oh you guys are over here now.
Anyone else watch Fringe last night? Gee…really? Cause some of you (you know who you are) sound like refugees from a script (you which characters I mean) 🙂
