Isn’t that Hipster territory?!?!?! I thought cmu is looking for a nice decent women!

  2. Miss Muffett, what are your thoughts on PS 39 and 107 versus 321? Do u think the south slope schools like 39 and 107 are less crowded but have as high of caliber as 321?

Also, what are your thoughts on the “rush” of high end PS brownstones that are going into contact, something that antidope and 11217 keep harping on?

  3. Would love to say I run to find out what’s up, but no. Do cycle. Not too exercise-happy tho’ I should be.

Anybody been to the PS pool place on 7th near Flatbush? Have been to several kids parties there and wondered what it’s like at adult time.

Salsa… hmmm…I used to folk dance (in spite of B. Russell’s “I will try everything once except incest and folk-dancing”) but the demographics are a little too peasant-skirt/cargo pants/stare you in the eye fixedly/ for me now. There’s wsa a contra dance (square-dance like) at OSH in PS, but I decided it’d be too deja vu.

  4. >>Maybe someone should organize an ‘Official’ Brownstoner Singles Meet and Greet.

  5. Miss Muffet, can’t really help as I’m not very familiar with the NY Times online site, which I have heard is pretty brutal. Or at least it used to be.

I’m sure you already know about Streeteasy and Natefind, but I think they are pretty good for searches by borough and neighbourhood. And they seem to be starting to post listings from the smaller brokerage firms. Although NY Times would, I imagine, have all the FSBOs that the other sites wouldn’t.
