And also, if we put into place changes to correct for GW, and it proves to be not as bad as we think, we will STILL improve the environment, use less energy and have a better future.
legion- scientists use a lot of data sets from wide ranging sources to measure global warming. It isn’t just the coastline. It’s a shame that the deniers are so fixated on those emails, especially since they really don’t understand what is going on in them and are misrepresenting what was actually being said.
I really don’t want to join the debate but will say this once more, re: global warming…does it not make sense to err on the side of caution and reasonably assume there is at least the possibility that global warming is real, and do whatever can be done to reduce our carbon footprint? To me, the downside in this is far less than the downside in assuming global warming does not exist.
Yeah Biff – I’d be interested in the wine class too – but it’s hard to be knowledgable about wine and not come across sounding like a douchebag to others haha
Noki, I only run from the po-pos. Kidding…I don’t jog but if you find me a hottie to chase, I’ll do it :o).
I’ve done Salsa dancing and eventhough there were not so many hotties in my class, the instructor is one of the best out there and the classes ruled. Info is below, you can also check him out on youtube. He is awesome and a great teacher.
The classes are held at Empire Dance on 26th street and are about $20 per class. You can get a package deal. Private classes with him are very expensive (like over $120 an hour).

For the record: I do know ONE person who knows a lot about wines and does not comes off as a douche. So, it is possible.

Oh Noki, hang around a bit more often and you will see that legion’s got a million of ’em.

Legion, we need a private OT where we can fight all day. Just need to figure out a way to get paid for it…
Legion, you’re genuinely scaring me. Making the counter argument sound all ‘scientific-like’ doesn’t make it true.
