It is always good to err on the side of caution.
The problem here is that it is coming at a great cost and with the very real possibility of limited benefit.
unless China, India and Russia sign on to the global warming protocols, no matter how many panels I put on my house and how many roofs we paint white, there will be little improvement in global CO2 emissions.
The big question for me with global warming is whether the proposed fixes will make enough difference to be worth their cost. I am not convinced of that at all yet.
I’m not a scientist, but I understand that some real scientists do disagree with man-made global warming, although the large majority does believe it is real.
I agree with biff. Global warming is a reality, no matter what the reason. The issue isn’t whether or not humans are the cause- the issue is that it is happening and we do have the means to do something about it. Environmental changes aren’t only about global warming- the human impact on the planet has been devastating for animal life, the oceans, the air quality, the forests. Even if you took global warming out of the mix, the damage we are doing is immense and indisputable. And certainly adds to the perfect storm of the environmental crisis we are creating.
As much as I don’t want to giv credit to that goy, cmu (;-), he is spot on with his comments. As is blowfish.

Although the name’s not bad – have to run it by chicken though. Perhaps tweaking it to ‘Stoner Dragons. Or just “The Dragons”.
