We settled down in Jersey City since the commute is only 1/3 the time it takes you to from butt-f*ck (I mean Bayridge) Brooklyn to either Midtown or Downtown Manhattan.
One more thing about this, and I’m drained (on this topic anyway) for today. I already posted, but will do so again – a rather interesting perspective on the so-called “climategate” issued by New Scientist:
Thanks Arkady! Much appreciated. I want to give it as a special gift to someone for Xmas. And the person I’m giving it to is a big knitter and knows quality yarns. But obvi I can’t ask them.
I found two places in Brooklyn: Stitch Therapy in PS and Knit-A-Way on Atlantic Ave. I’m going to go next time I’m in the area, but don’t really know what I’m looking for/at.

the kids who go to stuy are all over privileged losers who have parents who are rich but are too cheap to pay for private school. im talking about the white kids. the asians are probably cool. they love snorting heroin lol
Legion, or this one:
“God is always on the side of the heaviest battalions”
– Voltaire
Or these:
“Is man one of God’s blunders or is God one of man’s blunders?”
– Friedrich Nietzsche
“If triangles made a God, they would give Him three sides.”
– Baron de La Brede et de Montesquieu
ET,
wasn’t there some thread yesterday about some yarn shop and cafe combo on Smith St?
“Hipsters have interesting headgear?”

“I went to a place in butt-f*ck NJ (sorry THL)”
That’s o.k….we don’t live in butt-f*ck.

Is this too thick for a baby sweater? Is 50/50 wool/alpaca too itchy for a baby?
“Hipsters have interesting headgear?’

“”question; has there ever been a hypothesis believed by a majority, then disproven by a minority;
answer; yes”
You should ask Galileo about that. Or Newton, or Einstein.
