Dec. 10 (Bloomberg) — Household wealth in the U.S. increased by $2.67 trillion in the third quarter as stock prices and home values climbed, putting consumers farther along the path of recovery from the biggest destruction of assets on record.
American consumers also reduced debt at a record pace last quarter, the figures showed, paving the way for sustained spending gains next year. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index was up 32 percent in the six months to September, the biggest two-quarter gain since 1975, while home values increased by $244.7 billion, according to the report.

i like the global warming discussion i skimmed but i have limited time today and i’m trying to stay in good mood- i’m taking my lunch over to the onion, maybe skim some other threads here, i’ll report back later
He’s a big play threat DH, no doubt about it. And he does make big plays. But like most of the Dallas players (including Romo) he doesn’t make enough “routine” plays. When you really need a first down (or a win), he hasn’t delivered. But, the season isn’t over yet, so he may prove me wrong.

Thanks for the link, Legion. Do you know what man-made factors are attributed to the mini ice age? I noticed that was one for the four factors. Are you aware of any substantial body of scientific evidence attributing the current and projected climb to specific identified non-man-made factors?
