Dave, I’m embarrassed to say we forgot to get his card. I think he was local to the South Slope, and was Hispanic. (like that will help) We were so thrilled when he called in and the dispatcher told him ten bucks, we lost our minds.
When he stopped for us, we almost didn’t get in because his car was a bit raggedy, and Amzi almost couldn’t fit in the front seat, and the driver had spilled water in the seat. But he gave Amzi his padded seat, pushed the seat back, and was a real sweetie. We asked him for his card, but he forgot to give it to us, and in getting out of the car, we forgot to get it. I guess we’ll just have to chalk it up to a memorable Brooklyn moment, and hope to see one of the company’s cars again. I’d recognize the name if I saw it again, but can’t remember it, and I did not have that much to drink, either.
So, who had the best pic of the night? My vote goes to MM’s baby pic. Way too cute! Runner up for me is one of our new Brownstoner guests who had 3 pics of herself in the most adorable cowgirl outfits!
Awesome cookies, Cobble! Great venue, Biff! Gowanus? Who knew? I’m with MM. I’m buying waterfront property in Gowanus. And, Snappy, what can I say to you about all you did last nite, except, damn, enough with that glitter. *rob* and I are gonna take that up with your mother when we speak to her this weekend!
