heather, i am south on the Clinton Hill/ Bed-Stuy border, so that i can also walk to Prospect Heights and Crown Heights, and Fort Greene. I like the location, even tho at first plush its seems like nothing special other than some pretty nice brownstones. There’s actually some really nice restaurants and retail in the area, and i love my neighbors. You could get a brownstone, limestone, new condo development, wood frame, or like me, a brownstone/limestone that has been divided into condos. Some allow an FHA home loan, for first-time buyers, with only 3% down. i know that sounds reminiscent of the subprime disaster, but its not.
