Cobble, it was pretty funny when I met one of your non-blog people, who “knows” about us. “Ohhhh, you’re one of the blog people”, he said, seeming surprised. I’m not quite sure what he expected, lol.
heather i’m on quincy and classon. i would pick you up to go the Bell House except that my husband is also not coming home until late and (sorry everyone for my constant hijacking/whinging on the subject) i don’t have a babysitter yet, and i’m not ballsy enough to take my baby to a bar at night. day time yes, nigh time- that’s pushing it, even for Bklyn.
“I have told a few friends. They look at me as if I am even more insane than they thought I was already, and then seem to promptly forget the whole thing.”
LMAO…exactly my experience. I told a few BH friends and I am certain they forgot about it two seconds later.
CGar, I was just curious. I had mentioned it to a couple of friends in the neighbourhood but I don’t think they ever go on this blog. Didn’t know if other PLUSAs mix their real worlds and their blog worlds.
“Do any PLUSAs have friends in the non-blog world (i.e., “real” world) who know they post here?”

>>because we don’t have $100K or even 50K or even… hell, well it is depressing…
heather, why don’t you try getting a job at one of the TARP banks?
It is raining money over there; I hear Tim Geither shows up ever morning with bags full of cash to throw around to all the employees, Oprah style:
“here is a bailout! Here is a bailout! here is a bailout!”
LOL
