I am going to a friend’s house for dinner tomorrow after all, but it will be nice & laid back (& not eating till 7pm). I like Thanksgiving – has no significance to me other that just a day off work.
Kenny boy, i saw that you were commenting on a restaurant in bed stuy. When did you learn to eat cooked human food? Don’t you people only eat raw meat like wild animals? ROTFL!
>>I most likely will be voting Republican again in 2012
I was a life long democrat until the bailouts happened. Now, I just want some crazy person like palin or glen beck or lou dobbs in power to blow up this country so we can re-build from the ground up again.
1.) a WOMAN farted on the train today and totally held her nose and then gave me a look like i did. no WAY, it was SO her. and that was the first time i ever smelled a lady fart :-/
2.) thanksgiving… lovely thanksgiving.. this is the first year im totally doing it alone and im SO excited and happy about it. there is nothing fun about travelling, or family, or any of that crap. I had a little epiphony this morning when i woke up about my life and how live it and why i shouldnt get upset about the stupid holidays and how other people act around the holidays. i never ate thanksgiving dinner proper with my family but i did actually have thanksgiving even tho i never really thought it was but i think it was now that i think about it. my grandfather was the one who would cook thanksgiving dinner. he would wake up, seriously, at like 4 am and start prepping. he would wake me up a little after that, make us coffee and would make me eggs and toast and then an hour or so later make me a stuffing loaf that was leftover from the stuffing he’d put into the bird. (btw he was legally blind so i dont know how he managed to sew up the turkey a$$). then i’d go back to sleep and sleep thru thanksgiving dinner proper. (they ate at like noon which i always thought was weird, but i think maybe it had to do with football and people coming over or something). my grandmother and uncle would year after year start saying all kinds of nasty stuff about me not eating with them, but now that i think about it my grandfather totally understood me. i hated them. i hated my entire family, they really sucked bad. he was the only cool one and im glad he let me do what i wanted to do. so while a bunch of people came over to graze on food and watchball i holed up in my room playing video games until they all left then i’d come out and fix myself a plate. of course my grandmother and uncle would get nasty at me, but f-ck them, i was smart enough to know from an early age that it’s OKAY to enjoy your own company and that FORCED family is not something than human beings need to put up with which is why i find it SHOCKING that so many people force themselves to spend time during the holidays with people they don’t like.
this year i will be dining with two lovely dogs who i actually DO love and for the most part love me back. we will be eating pizza. (well they wont eat the actual pizza but ill get a pepperoni and give them the pepperoni so it seems like we are eating together)
end.of.RANT.
thank you grandpa, you rocked!
and i hope you all have a great thanksgiving whether it be with people you love or loathe.

I’d personally like to see Newt Gingrich back on the scene.
Thank you rob, that was a lovely Thanksgiving message.
I think you could get a job writing for Hallmark.
>>I don’t think Palin would do anything to regulate Wall Street bonuses.
She has spoken out against the bailouts and a lot of angry tax payers are flocking to her.
I sure hope Palin runs & sunders the GOP voting base!
