*Xmas rob* – I loved your Thanksgiving proclamation. Have a great one with your dogs. (And don’t tell randi, but sometimes I treat the CDog to a few pieces of pepperoni.)
“Indeed, we have to do the walk more often with CGar too. Good thing I ran into you as I understand it takes two to Tango.”
Yes, please count me in. If I don’t start walking more, you’ll be able to roll me over the bridge.
Will you take pics Arkady and show us your place all decked out, pretty please?
Last year we had a little tiny Xmas tree, bush really, and it was crooked, it was more like a Charlie Brown Xmas tree really. Cute, but ridiculously goofy!
ok just putting this recommendation out there again,
there’s a new movie opening this weekend
The Road
it’s based on a novel by Cormac McCarthy
This guy is seriously on the level of Faulkner or Genet.
it’s almost biblical in it’s vision.
he also wrote
No Country For Old Men
Outer Dark
The Orchard Keeper
Child of God
Aside from winning the pulitizer, this book is the scariest book you will ever read if you have a son.
I won’t give it away, but there are depictions in the book where you instinctively turn your head away.
The only other time I can recall such a visceral reaction was when I read American Psycho (I actually had a fight with the libriarian about that one, but that’s another story)
Did I mention it’s a love story?
Now I can’t vouch for the movie since I haven’t seen it, but it has major talent involved
Viggo Mortensen
Robert Duval
Charlize Theron
that guy from Momento
anyway, No Country For Old Men won the Oscar for best picture last year, although that was the Coen brothers directing.
If it’s half as good as the book, it will win this year’s best picture.
well, truthfully, feel like it’s early for decorations but my tenants love the apartment so much and take really great care of it, plus I think they’re trying to establish themselves as the go-to couple for holidays… Thought it would make the entry look pretty. Normally though my M.O is total atheist/grinch so, yeah… not so nice maybe. Sorry to disappoint. Besides I’ll just compensate for the electricity and cost of the decorations by jacking up the rent up next lease renewal 🙂
>>BTW, how does a dumb ass immigrant afford a 40″ flat panel????????
