NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police in Brooklyn are investigating an incident on the subway tracks that has left one person dead and a second in critical condition.

It happened at the 7th Avenue station at 9th Street and 7th Avenue in Park Slope about 7:45 a.m.

One person was pronounced death at the scene, officials said.

Both people apparently were struck by a Northbound ‘F’ train.

Good Morning All! I’m very happy to report some good news on the CDog. Looks like no cancer, no tumors, no breaks, no fractures, all of which I’ll be happy to have ruled out conclusively once the radiologist looks at the Xrays. She does have very bad arthritis on both front legs – literally looks like hooks growing off of each knee bone (don’t know what they’re called, didn’t teach us that in law school). Blood results from tick-borne illnesses come back tomorrow. It’s looking like the arthritis in the front legs is what waylaid her, so if that theory holds, we just have to figure out how to make her comfortable enough to walk.

Dave, you would have especially liked the HOT guy who took the Xrays – Asian? Eurasian? Where’s bxgrl? She goes to the same Vet – AND the HOT young Latino technician.
