  1. ooo Arkady, I didn’t know those exist. It would be ideal not to drill but I live on the top floor and wouldn’t want it to drop on anyone’s head. I know who I am going shopping with come spring. My ideal herbs to grow is basil and oregano to start since I tend to use those most and then branch off to others.

  2. Denton- He wasn’t *trying* to eat it. It’s just the process of getting it out of the backpack, and dragging it to the kitchen and attempting to refrigerate it for you took a lot of effort and he may have just needed to stop and snack a bit.

At least he tried to help!

  3. I see my fan club has a new member 😉 LOL

CGar- best wishes to the CGarPup.

Snappy- Hari’s a terror! Might I recommend the purchase of a water gun or spray bottle? They work.

  4. Denton – Sounds as if your cat is smarter than his owner.
Snappy – Definitely get a table to suit you & keep a piece of marble for pastry.
Kens – Many herbs don’t mind part shade. They also prefer sandy soil. Best bet is to buy herbs from the market at GAP – thyme, tarragon, rosemary, oregano, for instance, don’t grow true from seed. Parsley & sage are hard to start. Some catalogues have boxes w/ angle irons that can fit over a sill so you don’t have to drill.
