The red bags are “code”, in an ironic way. Only Chinese stores use them. It’s provided to their customers so that they can demonstrate that they “shopped Chinese”. Kind of like a “Chinese Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval”.

Dave I once had reverse Frottage (she grinded into me) when I lived in NYC and commuted from Queens to Manhattan. It was quite memorable.
